An Elizabethan Looks Back.
Jack comes as a post-Armada Elizabethan and looks back over his father's, grandfather's and great-grandfather's time. He sets up a 'time line' of children dressed in accurate costume to illustrate changes of fashion, e.g. codpiece v peascod. Changes in lifestyle, religion, enemies, weapons etc.over the period are explored in various ways and a wide range of artefacts and activities is offered. If successive classes are worked with during the day (Please not more than three!) each can follow a different theme and then compare notes when Jack is gone.
